Paul Finck:

Welcome to this edition of Mavericks Do It Different podcast, we are going to be talking about something extra special today because I want to bring you on a journey, a journey of, of introspection, if you will, on well, where you're going to be going in your future. For this particular training, I want you to understand that we're going to talk about your inner world, the world that resides deep within you the world that well we often forget about, we move past we, we decide, oh, that's not important. We want to talk about the external world, guess that world, the world that's often forgotten amongst the chaos of our external life. So close your eyes now are about to transverse the hidden valleys of your mind and heart. Imagine that you're standing on the edge of a an amazing ocean in front of you an ocean of untapped potential that lies within you. On the other side of that Ocean lies the grandest version of you with the version you always imagined you had within you, the person you dream of becoming. You stand on the precipice of your own transformation. There's a vastness in front of you of vastness that separates your dreams from who you are right now your reality of everything that you could want. Man, the fear, the uncertainty, the doubt, that's within you. It's the it's the that difference that gap, if you will, the, the opportunity, growth and potential that's within you is waiting. It's the paradox of, of the fact that we have it all there. And yet, it's still we have the fear and doubt, that causes us to get stuck and stopped. So open your eyes now. And let's go through this journey and embark on this with me right now. Let's take us across that massive gap. And it's not just a voyage. It's a personal pilgrimage, if you will.

Paul Finck:

Who we choose to accompany us on this journey who comes with us for this undefined journey to our own destination. That's really key in this whole process, who we bring with us. There's people out there that inspire millions like Tony Robbins, who talks about the quality of your life is the quality of your relationships. That's right, your identity, your beliefs, your actions are heavily influenced by all the people around us. And I want to talk about that what's keeping us from the person that we want to be might be those very people, the people that stand on the precipice of transformation with us, the individuals we choose to help cross this Chisholm if you will, cross this bed vast spans in front of us. Who are those people? The key to navigating this journey is understanding and accepting the profound concept that we must hang out with the people who he wants to be, versus who he might be at the moment. All too often birds of a feather flock together, and we end up hanging out with those people. Now, you might wonder why does this concept holds such significance? It is because we are a byproduct of our environment, a byproduct of our experiences, we are shaped by the stories we tell ourselves and by those who narrate that by our side. The narratives that we tell ourselves in the narratives of each of the person in the circle contributing to that story, every word, every line, every chapter, shaping the person that we become. Recognize success is not in the knowing but in the doing, we've got to get busy and get busy identifying how to get to success. And one of the things we've got to get clear on is who's taking this journey with us and learn to navigate step by step. Here's a gentle reminder to be aware of who it is that we're bringing with us and how to go through the process, if you will. The real challenge is learning how to discern the company we choose can serve as a scaffold in our journey you're holding us accountable, inspiring us, motivating us and guiding us along the way. They can challenge our fears push us to venture out of our comfort zones help us elevate ourselves to brand new heights, their perspectives, their ideas, experiences can serve as a catalyst for our own growth. However, remember that the energy of those around us can also be infectious, emotion, emotions, behaviors, habits. They're all contagious. The joy and sorrow of those around us can seep into our lives, shaping our emotional state, their habits, healthy or not, can start influencing ours. Imagine a situation where your friends habits start well, pulling you away from your goals, your targets your your dream world, your thirst for growth in your pursuit of the new venture might clash with the weekly rendezvous at the local pub, if you will, when you give up your dreams, give up your your future, for the status quo.
